May 26, 2020 – Sensational and talented Virtuoso violinist, Claudia Pellegrini, is taking a step to adapt her concerts to coronavirus times. With her unique talent and music style, Claudia aims to lift people’s spirits and make them smile by setting up powerful sound systems at 50 feet from the building. At the same time, residents can open their windows and enjoy her soul-warming sounds from the comfort of their rooms.

An enthusiastic team member of the “Dementia Society of America,” Claudia Pellegrini is known nationwide for her performances in different theatres and alongside different Broadway stars. Before the lockdown due to COVID-19, Claudia performs for about ten various institutions every month for Memory Care. The elderly population has been affected by the restrictions as they have been left without live music.

I am passionate about using helping people through with my music, and that is more important now as we all pull through the COVID-19 crises together. I have teamed up with some innovative staff members to create a “Social Distancing” way of bringing music to Retirement Homes by staging “Parking Lot” concerts. I believe this is a safe and beautiful way to bring healing and soul-lifting song to the community,” says Claudia Pellegrini.

She says further, “This new design for “safe” concerts is quickly gaining popularity, especially as the weather gets warmer. It has even become a whole neighborhood affair, as the music performance attracts hikers, dog-walkers, and bikers. Staring from afar, people can enjoy the music while still keeping in mind that safety is everybody’s main priority.”

A firm believer in the connection between music and wellness, Claudia Pellegrini has been using the therapeutic sounds of her instrument for healing purposes since the early 2000s. In 2018, she was honored with a Dementia Society Diplomat Award for her work with memory care patients.

Prior to coronavirus times, Claudia has been a frequent collaborator of Broadway stars such as Rebecca Robbins, Luke Grooms, and Matt Leisy (of “Phantom Of The Opera” fame) Tamar Greene (“Hamilton”) or Nick Cordero (“Waitress”, “Rock of Ages”), among others. She was also recently featured as a Violin soloist with the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey. Her concerts often bring her to Spain, Puerto Rico, and all across the US, most recently VA and IL.
