Hahacards.net Launches Drive To Help Support First Responders With PPE Supplies – “Father’s Day Card” Proceeds Will All Go To Purchasing PPE Items and Donating Them Where They Are Most Needed
Los Angeles, California – Jun 1, 2020 – As the COVID-19 Pandemic spread like wildfire across the Nation, people have been stuck at home in quarantine. With so much free time to be creative plus the desire to get involved, some folks have indeed stepped up to the plate and started a process to help the country in these difficult times. PPE items like masks, gloves, face shields, etc., are in high demand.
Derek and nine-year old Zakariyus Ford have taken action on a brilliant plan to produce creative greeting cards and use the proceeds to fund PPE Item purchases and distribute them where they are needed most: Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Clinics.
Father’s Day is right around the corner, and this year Hahacards.net is making it extra special by supporting frontline workers. Taking note of everything going on with COVID-19, nine-year-old Zakariyus knew he wanted to help. He had previously done a unit in school that was related to helping others and he was excited to do something about the current situation. Obviously, there was a bit of hesitation from Derek because, besides practicing social distancing, what difference could they really make? After seeing numerous news stations, governors, and health professionals pleading for PPE gear, they knew what to do! With Zakariyus having a knack for drawing and doodling, they finalized their plan.
During a recent interview, Derek Ford, CEO of Hahacards.net, made these comments, “These cards will help the economy. I want to use these cards to raise money and work with small businesses in America to deliver this PPE equipment to front line workers. It will show everybody how one small business can make a big difference.”
